Carol A. Keymer, Professional Biography

Carol holds a Masters in Counseling Psychology and a B.S. in Education. She is a Nationally Certified Psychologist, a Licensed Behavioral Practitioner and a Licensed Professional Counselor. Additionally, she is a Neuro-Linguistics Programming practitioner and is Success Skills certified. She is an honors graduate of both Southern Nazarene University and Northern Illinois University with over fifteen years experience in corporations across America designing and implementing various education programs. Carol has trained, coached and counseled over 3,000 individuals focusing on management and leadership skills that emphasize the appreciation of individual differences.

In 1997, Carol moved into private practice, focusing on counseling children, adolescents and adults to cope with life's difficulties, transitions and challenges. She has had the privilege of helping and supporting hundreds of individuals and is always honored by others seeking her counseling services.

Carol specializes in coaching children, adolescents and adults in effective Learning Strategies, while at the same time insuring appropriate behavior and sound emotional health. As she works with the individual, she also focuses on the entire family insuring a supportive environment. Carol is a mother of two sons each diagnosed ADHD and LD and has a family history where both challenges are prevalent. She is committed to helping and supporting people with these and similar difficulties. She is dedicated to helping them and others recognize and appreciate their unique talents and differences.
